The Bombay HC has dismissed a petition by Oscar Builders for seeking the demolition of alleged illegal construction in Oscar Towers in Mumbai Central questioning why the petitioner was "in slumber" for 12 yrs & sought the same relief given to him in 2004.
Maharashtra to maintain status quo on ready reckoner rates
The state govt is planning to keep the ready reckoner rates stable in 2018 & not reduce them. Due to slump in the market, the ready reckoner rates are higher than the actual market rates at some places.
